Kihada Kreative is exceptionally proud to once again be supporting the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival for their 13th annual event this year, and this event has to be the best yet! Their spectacular array of Latin American cinema showcasing for the first time in Vancouver inspires a mingling of cultures and encourages exploration into a diverse and colourful part of the world in an artistic and stunningly visual capacity.

During our 15 plus years in the film and commercial photography field, we’ve come to love and understand Vancouver’s advantageous location inside and out. With such a mild climate, a colourful spectrum of weather (sometimes experienced all in one day), a mosaic of cultural districts & architecture and a variety of landscapes to choose from, ours is the perfect city to shoot any type of production. European fashion ad? Hit up Gastown. New York vogue? The streets downtown await. Glacial water promo? Grouse or Cypress, 365 days of the year. You can even turn StanleyPark, VanDusenGardens, and Lynn Headwaters into a Tolkien forest. Nothing against travel and adventure – but why look anywhere else?

By now, you’ve probably heard of this new phenomenon – 3D printing. You may even have already purchased – or even designed – an item created by a 3D printer. Thanks to sites like Shapeways, Sculpteo, and Thingiverse, designing and producing an object using 3D printing technologies is truly as easy as 1-2-3. The question is: how will this explosion of design potential and manufacturing processes impact our creativity and how we create?

“Inspire. Achieve. Excel” – a slogan that certainly parallels our own design objectives!  Our latest adventures in branding and web design have been with the Kelowna Skating Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing skating programs of all varieties to skaters of all ages and skill levels – and our design inspiration lies at the heart of this mission.

That’s right, we’ve kicked off 2013 with a stunning new website – but the key to our success is still tried and true. It’s not by chance or slight of hand, but a method that we’ve carefully honed for success. And it just so happens that the launch of our new website offers the perfect opportunity to tell you all about it!  It’s a story worth telling, because it illustrates exactly the steps we take with each of our clients for every project. This empowering and engaging event, which Kihada Kreative has had the honour and pleasure of sponsoring since its very beginnings, is the ticket to a day in Disneyland for 125 kids facing physical, social, and mental challenges. Picture a round of golf on a course of lush tree-lined fairways, incredible live and silent auctions, contests, draws, and Redwoods’ famous steak and lobster barbecue dinner – all of which helps create magical memories for special kids! Your day on the green could help make dreams come true.

Your One-Stop Recycling Shop now has a brand-new online image – in tandem with opening its new Nanaimo location, Regional Recycling also has a completely new website, designed and developed by Kihada Kreative! Visual vibrancy and sleek imagery are the focal points of the site, every single element of which was custom-designed to impress. Regional Recycling’s is a story to tell, and what better way to share it with the world than through bright and bold imagery?

Hot off the presses, we bring you the launch of Fortress Paper’s new website, designed and developed by Kihada Kreative! The original website, along with the company logo, underwent an extensive remodeling to create a clean, sleek modern look that better reflects Fortress Paper’s multi-national operation. As the leading producer of the specialty pulp and paper products used to print banknotes in over 100 currencies in more than 50 countries worldwide, Fortress Paper needed a website worthy of its enterprise – and we at Kihada were pleased to provide.
