Osoyoos Celebrity Wine Festival Call for Submissions

From quirky logos to artsy packaging, BC wineries are upping the ante when it comes to imaginative designs and delicious wines. The Osoyoos Celebrity Wine Festival takes the creativity one step further by merging it with another artistic medium (and one of our favourites): film. “The Vinos” is the world’s only annual wine film festival and they’re seeking submissions!

This year, the festival is looking for creative wine enthusiasts who can produce a one to three minute video about their favourite BC winery, wine story or BC wine experience. Think: condensed version of bo Bottleshock.

What’s in it for you? If chosen as a finalist, you’ll have the opportunity to see your submission gloriously screened against the plush backdrop of Osoyoos Lake and get a chance to rub elbows with some celebrities and media at the Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos, BC. More importantly, you could win $2500, $1500 or $750 in cash and wine! The event takes place on Saturday, June 11th at 7:30.

The deadline for submissions has been extended to June 3rd, 2011. So what are you waiting for? Lights, camera, Vinos!
