Now it’s your turn to pledge handmade and shop local. Why? It helps the environment by reducing your carbon footprint, it keeps your hard earned money in the community and it supports Vancouver’s handmade revolution!

In 2006, Andrea participated in her very first craft fair. Not knowing what to expect, Andrea quickly realized that she was in a sea of afghans, booties and crocheted doilies. Were all craft fairs like this? Surely not! Inspired, Andrea and her husband Robert, started their own event in 2007 called Got Craft? – a modern twist on the conventional craft fair. The very first event was held in May 2007 at the Western Front with 20 vendors and 500 attendees.  The event has now grown to over 55 local handmade vendors and 1500 people through the doors!  Working hard to forge relationships with the local crafting community as well as Crafty Wonderland in Portland, Urban Craft Uprising in Seattle and Craft Republic in Los Angeles, Got Craft? is without a doubt Vancouver’s largest indie craft fair!
