Call for submissions: 2011 China international poster biennial
Hangzhou (China) – The 5th China International Poster Biennial (CIPB) is now open for submissions. The exhibition will be held from 29 October to 3 November 2011 at the West Lake of Hangzhou, China, showcasing the current state of international poster design.
Call for submissions: Graphic Responses 5
Fort Collins (United States) – Graphic Responses, an online poster exhibition, is seeking submissions for its fifth edition. Faculty at Colorado State University, Department of Art, initiated the exhibit in 2003 as a “graphic response” to upheavals in international events. The organising committee invites new international perspectives on current issues and topics of social interest to artists and their communities.
Hiiibrand announces 2010 international logo design awards winners
Nanjing (China) – Hiiibrand has anounced the winners for their 2010 International Logo Design Award. Gathering submissions from enterprises, design studios, designers, and design students, Hiiibrand 2010 rewards excellent logos and the companies that commission them. This year they received 4 136 submissions from over 60 countries around the world. Through a rigorous five-month selection process, seven renowned international judges made the final selection. The winning logos will be published in 28th edition of New Graphic. Entries for Hiiibrand 2011 will be accepted starting in June 2011.
Icograda members collaborate to organise United Designs: 5th international biennial design exhibition
Lemesos (Cyprus) – The fifth United Designs exhibition, a celebration of international awareness between education and profession in visual communication design, has opened its call for entries. The 2011 edition is co-organised by Cyprus University of Technology and the Korea Ensemble of Contemporary Design.
